Reger.com Version 5.2 Launched

PMReger.com Version 5.2 is out! This build includes the start of a bunch of GPS/geography features. Currently, these features are rudimentary. You can add gps coords to an entry and then you can see a little yellow spot on a global map where that entry occurred. And you can get a map with little dots for all of your entries.

It's neat, but not yet that powerful.

In the coming weeks I plan on adding zoom/pan ability to the map. After that we need to get some better US shapefiles in the system. And then the ability to click on dots to see entries from that location. And then the big kahuna... the ability to find other people's entries in the area.

Lots to do on the geography side of things. This is a strong start and I think it's fairly unique to see a map generator inside of a blog tool. I could be wrong... maybe there's one out there. Let me know if there is.
