Up late tonight. Worked all day. Good stuff but my computer is driving me nuts. It's been time to reinstall windows for about six months now but I can't spend the three days required to get everything back the way I like it. But my machine is just so slow. It has 30% free space and I defrag it every night but it just disk thrashes all day. I click... I wait... I click... I wait. On simple stuff. It's driving me nuts. I have to spend twelve hours a day getting eight hours of work done. Frustrating. I just launched some new stuff. So I spent a little time relaxing, surfing around. I continued to lose fitness this weekend. Wow. I need to get back at it. My knee feels better but it's not ready for prime time. I've been stretching. About ten minutes each day. And then little stretch sessions at random times. I'm fairly convinced that stretching is what's gonna get my knees fixed. Tomorrow's a big NASCAR day. Jimmie Johnson is at the back of the pack after a poor qualifying session. Kurt Busch is in the pole position. It's gonna be a great race. Too bad I drank what remains of the Coronas tonight. Can't buy beer in Georgia on Sunday. The new image tagging thing is cool. Each image on the site now has, in addition to a description, some keywords. These keywords are tags. Not all of my images are tagged, and those that are are poorly tagged, but I can already see the power in the tagging approach. A little worried about the database load from the large number of tags and the table joins required to make the feature happen. We'll see how it scales. I haven't added any indexes yet. Probably should. Didn't make it outside at all today. Showered. But didn't get dressed in anything beyond sweat pants. Didn't really have a plan... which is how I fell into work all day. I shouldn't do that on the weekends. I should be spending time with my wonderful wife. Tomorrow we'll watch NASCAR together. Actually, she's showing property for the first portion of the race. But she'll make it back.
