Ava's definitely starting into her stranger anxiety phase. She gets nervous and cries when she's around people other than her parents. We thought that these were isolated incidents at first... maybe hunger... or tiredness. But the pattern is clear now. She'll go from perfectly happy to a screaming ball of volume in about three minutes. Kendra and my father were over today and she freaked. My mother and Mark were over this weekend and she freaked.
I kinda like it. Makes me feel like I have a connection. Like she treats me as special. Stranger anxiety rocks!
That said, it may not be much fun for the holidays when visiting people is the norm :)
