A change is good ... like the scrolling content, like the new font in the logo (where did u get that?), would like to see the header take up less vertical space, agree that the pic of u is bit ... well, let's just say I hope it's a place holder. The overall effect is counter-culture to your leading edge career and life style ... not a judgement, just an assessment of the joe reger brand.

Marty T's fam said the same thing! I swear it's a pic Ava took. She likes to move the tripod over to my desk while I'm working. Every now and then I lean into the camera and she giggles. I'll work on a new pic!

1. Yes--you should be very comfortable and be able to comfortably contact the lever. Test this on fast rollers and Gap descents. You can fly down the gaps in the drops. 2. Can name some downsides to too narrow but not too wide. Too wide--do you feel that you have too much space from the stem to the hoods? That would just give you more positions when doing long climbs in the mtns. I know some pepole runner wider bars to allow more air to get into their system. Physical/mental...? Who knows. Bottom line is you need to be 100% comfortable in the saddle. I spend a lot of times out on the hoods--so that position needs to be very comfortable. Practice sprinting/riding in the drops--this will save you when people attack. Have fun at the Gaps. Let me know when you want to ride..

I'm glad I'm not alone-Addison's weight is around the 5% mark plus she's on flovent which is a breathing treatment that can stunt growth. The doctor is not concerned-but I am of course. It's good that we just don't go along with what they say-we know our kids better than they do. She's adorable-we need more pictures!

I saw this documentary, and while as it's sad to see the meerkats get picked off one by one, it's how nature is. I wouldn't call it the WORST, rather the rawest i've seen yet. It didn't try to sugar-coat things, those are the obstacles countless animals. It's not for the faint hearted, but as you put so elegantly: it's life. I'm glad that at least Digger survived, though the last scene to me inspired an ironic little laugh - "Hurray", i thought, "Digger, after all this time and strife, ends his epic quest with a wee bit of fun. All is 'well'..."

I was flying back to San Antonio and it was an exceptional night to be flying -- the air was very clear and the view from the top was extraordinarily clear. I actually noticed how bright it was but I didn't know why until I got off the plane and saw the moon. Driving home, we noticed that in the country everything was lit well enough by the moon to be able to see details of the trees, etc. An awesome picture and we're glad you still enjoy the telescope!

Hi Heather! Always synthetic layers in winter. Cotton collects sweat and will leave you freezing if you have to stop with a flat, etc. Just layering on the top is easy because you've got running gear. You need a pair of gloves... how big and warm depends on the temp... most cyclists have two pairs... one fairly thin pair and one winter bulky for 30 degree days. Keep your toes warm with shoe covers... essentially neoprene booties that go over your cycling shoes. I also use chemical foot warmers with mixed results... sometimes they don't get enough oxygen to warm up... had that problem on last ride. For legs there are cycling tights that generally come in two thicknesses... thin and thicker. A lot of it is just trial and error. Riding and seeing what's not comfortable. I generally opt for more than I think I need because I can always unzip a top or remove a layer. The windchill is significant and magnifies the cold a lot.

I have a question for you since you seem to ride outdoors year round... What kind of clothes do you recommend for various temperatures in GA? I don't mind trying to brave the cold but I have no clue what to buy and wear for bicycling!

Dear Mr. Turner, I watched the 60 Minutes episode with your story recently and you said something that caught my ear. I am with many thousands of people in the United States unemployed at this time. I have two little girls, a wonderful wife and a hefty mortgage. I am not looking for a handout. I am willing to work for my income but cannot find gainful employment. I really don't want to lose our home that we built in 2004 but if something doesn't come my way soon, that well may happen. What you have built in your life is truly remarkable. I wish I had the resources to accomplish 1/2 of what you have done. Anyway, my current financial problem is my mortgage and you said on 60 minutes that you are going to give away everything when the good Lord calls you. As I said, I am willing to work, but how I am going to pay my $220,000 mortgage leaves me in great stress. My wife is a local school teacher that doesn't make much. Not enough to pay the mortgage. Is there anything you can do to help us?? If it helps, I do enjoy all your TV networks and am a fan of the Atlanta Braves!!! Sincerely, Dave Garvey Penn Yan, New York

Hello Mr. Turner, congratulations on your 70th birthday and best of luck on your book, seen you today on good morning america, last night on letterman. As you know the economy is not very good here in northern minnesota, now india is coming here to build us a new mine. America is for sale, why are we not investing in ourselfs? I once wrote a letter to President Clinton while he was in office. If this is truely email going to you, I am looking for some advice in pursusuing my dreams & ideas, which include working with and for the elderly. You seem like the plain common sense kinda guy. Hope to here from you. Thank You, Glen

Not really. Al Qaeda is an organization which as a whole we are with. As opposed to Skinheads and Black Panthers which may be vile and repulsive, aren't waging war against us. I would be more concerned with the statement from Obama's camp about him being ready to 'RULE' day one. If this is his attitude, the fears and misgivings I've had about the man have already been proven true. The last 'ruler' we had was King George. Took an revolution to get rid of him, wonder how hard it will be to get rid of Obama?
